Welcome to Mosman Park Playgroup!

Hello and Welcome!

Mosman Park Playgroup is based at Alf Adams Pavillion, near the primary school. We welcome all children ages 0-5 with their caregivers - Mums, Dads, Grannies, Grandpas, Babysitters....anyone is welcome. 

We have an indoor and outdoor area, with plenty of toys. It is a friendly and welcoming environment for kids to play, and adults to have a chat! Playgroup days are Monday and Thursday, 9am - 11am. Members will be provided a link to join the Whatsapp group for additional communication, e.g. if we are running late to open. It is a 'free play' style of playgroup, we do not have educators running any activities. However, there are plenty of resources available (such as paints, paper, playdough, water play, sand) for you to use with your child. 

MP Playgroup is run by volunteers. We are very appreciative of anyone who is happy to help out, we always need volunteers to open / close and assist with open days! Or do more as part of the committee with some light admin duties....Please let someone know if you are able to be involved.

It is appreciated if all attendees can help pack up at the end:

- Sweep floors.

- Put away all toys in the outdoor shed.

- Put away all toys inside. 

Please bring morning tea for your child. There are tea and coffee facilities available in the kitchen if desired for the adults. Please avoid bringing nuts or nut products to playgroup for your children's snacks as some members have nut allergies.  

How to join?

You are welcome to attend 2 sessions for free, and then please join and pay the fees either for the year or part of the year you will be a member. The cost is $25 per term for our fees. If you join for the whole year in Term 1, you get one term for free! There is also a charge that needs to be paid to Playgroup WA to cover insurance - this will need to be paid in March 2025 one their new payment system is established.

To come along to a trial session, please send us an email or Facebook message. You are also welcome to just show up on the day, but it is recommended to contact us first so we can make sure someone is there to look our for you and confirm that Playgroup is running that day.
